OnePlus reveals a 200MP main camera and 3.5x periscope zoom for the Ace 7 Pro. Its promotional samples still need an independent test.

OnePlus has put a more specific camera pitch behind the Ace 7 Pro: a 200MP main camera and a periscope with 3.5x optical zoom. The company has also released wide and zoom photographs ahead of the Chinese launch on October 29, according to GSMArena.
These are manufacturer-selected images. They show how OnePlus wants the camera to be judged, but leave unanswered how often it can deliver the same result. A useful review would repeat shots of moving people, indoor scenes and distant detail, rather than compare a few attractive photographs chosen for a launch campaign.
For buyers, consistency between the main camera and the zoom lens will matter. A camera can produce an excellent daylight photograph and still be frustrating when focus or exposure changes unexpectedly between lenses. Belliste has not tested this handset.
OnePlus also describes a 165Hz display, with up to 185Hz in selected games. That last condition belongs beside the number: it should not be read as a promise that every game runs at 185 frames per second.
The launch should supply the missing commercial details. Until price and independent camera results are available, the confirmed hardware gives potential buyers something concrete to follow, rather than enough evidence for a purchase verdict.
