A new OPPO Find X10 Ultra leak suggests a 100MP selfie camera and a larger 10x zoom sensor, but some camera components remain undecided.

The most consequential detail in the latest OPPO Find X10 Ultra camera leak is still undecided. A larger sensor is being considered for the 10x telephoto camera, but production timing could leave the phone with a smaller alternative.
GSMArena's October 26 report, citing Digital Chat Station, describes a planned 200MP main camera with LOFIC technology, a second 200MP camera for periscope zoom and a 50MP 10x telephoto. On the front, a 100MP camera with a square sensor is reportedly under consideration. These are prelaunch claims, not specifications announced by OPPO.
The reported preferred sensor for the 10x camera is 1/1.95-inch type. A 1/2.76-inch alternative could be used if production of the larger component is delayed. That makes it premature to describe the camera upgrade as settled.
For a photographer, the practical question is what remains usable at long zoom: fine detail, predictable focus and a shutter speed that avoids blurring a moving subject. A specification sheet can suggest where improvements might come from. It cannot demonstrate that those improvements have arrived.
A larger sensor would also need to work with the lens, stabilization and processing. We would want comparable photographs taken at the same distance and in the same light before calling the new system a meaningful advance.
The proposed 100MP front camera supplies an obvious headline. Resolution alone, however, does not tell a buyer how faces will look indoors or whether video exposure will remain consistent when the background changes.
For people who use the front camera frequently, focus, skin texture and reliable framing are useful things to examine in a review. A higher pixel count does not answer those questions by itself.
The report points to the first half of 2027 for the handset's arrival. There is still room for the hardware to change before launch, particularly where component selection remains open.
Our view is to follow the final 10x sensor decision rather than treat every rumored megapixel figure as a finished upgrade. Price, availability and camera samples will make this a buying story. For now, it is an interesting account of hardware being considered.
