Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This policy describes how Belliste handles personal information when you browse our technology comparisons, articles and videos or contact us.
Who is responsible?
Belliste — Algeria operates Belliste. For privacy enquiries, email bellistes217@gmail.com.
Information we process
- Browsing and security: requests to the website and its infrastructure can include your IP address, browser information, requested URLs and request times, used to deliver the site and investigate errors or abuse.
- Messages: if you email us, we receive your email address and any information you include. We use this to respond and handle your request.
- Authorized accounts: administrative sign-in uses Supabase authentication. Account and session information is processed to authenticate authorized editors and protect the administration area.
You do not need an account to read public comparisons and articles. We do not ask visitors for payment information.
Cookies and browser storage
Authentication uses cookies to maintain signed-in sessions. The editorial tools can save drafts in the editor’s browser storage. You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser; disabling authentication cookies can prevent sign-in.
Google Analytics 4 is configured to measure visits and page usage only if you accept analytics. Until you accept, its tag is not loaded. We store your analytics choice in this browser for up to 180 days. You can change it using Privacy choices at any time; rejecting analytics does not prevent you from using Belliste.
Google Analytics
After consent, Google Analytics can process page views, browser and device information, approximate location and cookie identifiers to help us understand how Belliste is used. Our page-view events omit URL query strings and fragments. We do not send your contact email or authentication details to Analytics, and exclude administrative and authentication pages.
Advertising storage, ad personalization and Google signals are disabled in our integration. Belliste currently has no advertisements or affiliate links. Withdrawing consent stops subsequent tracking; it does not automatically erase previously collected data. Contact us for privacy requests.
Google Analytics cookies are configured with a 180-day expiry. Current Google Analytics settings retain event-level data for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months. New activity can reset user-data retention. Aggregated reports can remain available longer. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics is also enabled to understand overall traffic and website performance. Its browser beacon collects information such as page URLs, referrers, browser type and performance measurements without analytics cookies. This service is separate from Google Analytics, and the Google Analytics consent control does not switch it off. See Cloudflare Web Analytics information.
Videos and third-party images
Video previews may be loaded from Google’s YouTube image servers before playback. Loading an external image sends a request, including connection information such as your IP address, to that provider. Other externally hosted images also require a request to their host.
When you press Play, the site loads a YouTube player using privacy-enhanced mode on youtube-nocookie.com. Google may process playback and device information under its own policies. Privacy-enhanced mode does not make playback anonymous.
Read Google’s Privacy Policy and YouTube’s embedded-player information.
Service providers and international processing
Belliste uses Supabase for database, file storage and authentication. Cloudflare hosts and delivers the website and provides security and performance services. Our contact mailbox uses Gmail. These providers process information needed to deliver their services. Processing locations depend on the services and regions configured for deployment and can be outside your country.
See Supabase’s Privacy Policy. See also the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy for information about international processing and safeguards.
Why we use information
We use information to operate and secure Belliste, manage authorized editorial access, reply to messages and address legal or rights requests. Where applicable, these activities rely on our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the site, legal obligations, or consent where required for optional services.
Retention
We retain information only as needed for its purpose and applicable legal obligations. Messages are kept while handling the enquiry and any necessary follow-up; account information is kept while authorized access is needed. Provider log and backup retention depend on deployment settings. Infrastructure logs and backups follow the relevant service provider retention settings; you can contact us with privacy enquiries about these records.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may request access, correction or deletion of your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, or request portability. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. You may also contact your local data protection authority.
Use the details on our Contact page to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
